Goodbye Verne, a true gentleman and star
It is a very sad day for the Gaming world as we say Goodbye Verne to a true gentleman and star. Verne Troyer has died at the age of 49 in hospital in Los Angeles.
Verne Troyer might have been restricted in height, but it never stopped him being one of the biggest stars in the world. A true film hero in every sense of the word as he appeared in some the biggest films of his time.
Even though Verbne started his film debute back in 1994 in Baby’s Day out, he will be best remembered for his iconic role as Mini-me in the Austin Powers films. Dr Evil’s trusted sidekick went on to bigger and better parts that included Harry Potter and Celebrity Big Brother.
We will remember Big Verne as the unmistakable face of BGO Bingo and Casino. A wonderful ambassador for the brand that will be hard t0 replace. RIP Verne.
