New CEO Unibet Group is Henrik Tjärnström
Big changes in the gambling world gets a new CEO Unibet Group.
The Unibet Group which includes Unibet Bingo and
Maria Bingo have just appointed new CEO Henrik Tjärnström to take over as of the 20th July 2010. Henrik replaces the out going Petter Nylander who was CEO for the past 5 years.
During Mr Nylanders leadership, the company increased customer/user numbers fourfold, tripled the turnover and doubled the profit after tax. “I am sure you will agree has made it a very good 5 years” said the chairman and Unibet founder Anders Ström.
Henrik Tjärnström was Unibets Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for 5 years. He also served as Deputy CEO since April this year and was a member of the board of directors of Unibet for 5 years.
No stranger to Unibet , “Henrik is already involved in our future and will be a good choice moving us forward” commented Anders Ström. “We have been
lucky to be able to promote from within and it feels right”.
