Royal scandal? What Royal scandal
What is wrong with the papers, there is no royal scandal. The holier than though club that just can’t get it right when it comes to what a Prince can and can’t do. Prince Harry is a 27 year old unmarried man and a serving member of the armed forces, so quite frankly I expect him to be naked in Las Vegas.
There was a time when this would have been the scandal to end all scandals, but surely we have moved on from those times and evolved as a more tolerant and understanding nation. A young single Prince having fun with young consensual ladies shouldn’t even make the papers let alone be headline news. Seriously, what is it that we expect of him? Having the Royal family locked in a castle where you only get to see them in times of trouble or a wedding has long gone and we need to accept that they have evolved into what we wanted them to, to be more like us.
The fact of the matter
Is that with the likes of Prince Harry there is nothing to hide as every aspect of his life, Military career, Royal duties and parties are open to ridicule and praise in equal measures, so why the surprise and shock? Let’s be honest, it’s the way that it should be, because the alternative is that it all happens behind palace walls like some sort of 15th Century recluse.
Is Prince Harry a good ambassador for the country? A resounding YES, although having pictures of him in a very compromising position places a question mark over his security detail which have obviously failed him. There will be questions raised about this matter, but I doubt that the right questions will be asked.
