Ultimate Poker is back in the USA!
It’s about time that Online Poker was back in the USA, and it looks like that day is today. The first (legal) real money poker hand was dealt from Ultimate Poker. Good news for the USA and great news for he online Poker industry as this has been a testing couple of years with a clear absence from gaming platforms in the US.
SO what now for Poker? Is this the door opener that we have all been waiting for or is this going to be the slow battle of equal rights in the US. In short this is still very much a USA run operation and the rest of the world have to sit this one out for a while.
This really is a big step for the USA to allow money online poker sites back after the Black Friday incident. UltimatePoker.com may be the first to offer Texas Hold’em limit and no-limit games but it comes with some serious scrutiny from the Department of Justice and the US gaming association.
