The Ice Bucket Challenge has been a massive success and not just in the amount of funds raised, but in the fact that this challenge has single headedly raised awareness of ALS. Next challenge Pink Ribbon Bingo, playing to support Breakthrough Breast Cancer Charity.
The Ice Bucket Challenge was such a simple idea that inspired millions of us to nominate a friend to suffer under a bucket of freezing cold water. Although I’m not sure that everyone who had dumped a bucket of iced water over themselves know what ALS stands for, but the success of the Ice Bucket challenge has changed the way in which charity campaigns will be run in the future.
Let see if we can come up with something special for Pink Ribbon Bingo, the charity that raises funds and awareness for Breakthrough Breast Cancer by simply letting up play Bingo. Basically Pink Ribbon Bingo donate from their Gross profit and at no cost to you.
- ALS stand for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. ALS is a disease that attacks nerve cells in both the brain and the spinal cord leading to the progressive degeneration of muscles. This is a deliberating disease that leads to the loss of control of voluntary muscle movement and eventual paralysation and death.
