Sun Bingo
Playing at Sun Bingo is easy enough, starting with the sign-up process. The deposit option after signing up are good and simple too. I opted to deposit £10 via PayPal, which worked well.
Once set up and deposit were completed, I dove right in and wasn’t disappointed with what I found. Bingo is just the tip of a fabulous Sun Bingo iceberg, with plenty of games to play, especially slot-type games.
Usability
The mobile site is well structured with the app being the same. You can navigate easily enough through the game types, just select bingo and go. Or, return to the home screen by clicking on the bell next to the hamburger navigation top left. The navigation opens to the left to offer all of your account information, with links to deposit, cashier, games, casino, etc.
Slight hiccup with the slots navigation though, because if you go to the slot games the top navigation disappears and there is no way back. The “bell” and hamburger navigation doesn’t open to let you go back. Watch the video:
My Game Experience
I opted to try a Bingo Card game called Housey which you can find under the tab “5 Card Trick”. This is a new game to Sun Bingo and is a take on the classic Poker game that works with a Poker hand rather than a bingo ticket. The game is essentially the same, wait you’re your numbers (or cards in this case) are called, then a full hand is a Full House win. Simple! BUT, the game was over very quickly and didn’t really offer the same level of fun that a normal Bingo game does. Good if you don’t have the time for a full round of Bingo, but other Speed Bingo games will scratch that itch too.
At the time I was still playing on my smartphone in the mobile version, so I decided to download the Sun Bingo app from the App-store. Now downloaded, I can check out all the other games on offer.
I had a few issues finding my way back to the main lobby. The navigation lobby only catered to the games (see image). Which, once in, was difficult to get out of. Other options such as the cashier were not visible, so I decided to close the app and start it up again.
I found the cashier, which was not easy, they like you to find the deposit button rather than the withdrawal one. 😉 I opted to withdraw £20, which is where Sun Bingo earns my praise.
Withdrawing Winnings
Once I hit the withdraw button a pop-up appeared, and I was advised that I had a bonus connected to my first deposit. If I wanted to withdraw, I would have the option to reject the bonus. Given the choice, I decided to not claim the bonus and withdrew the money. The next morning, my £20 was in my PayPal account. I got my deposit back and a 10er on top 😊 Well done Sun Bingo! This might not always be possible elsewhere, but playing at Sun Bingo is.
Bonus Requirements in General
When you sign up as a new player through a bonus campaign, you spend your deposit (real money) first then, when that is gone, you start spending the bonus money. As soon as you touch the bonus money you are ruled by wagering requirements. This means you have to “reinvest” the amount you deposited, plus bonus money you received before you can withdraw. Usually, most wagering requirements vary between 30-60 times (depending on the operator) your stake+bonus.
Under this rule, I wouldn’t have been able to withdraw my winnings after I played my Bonus. However, because I withdraw at a time when I was still playing the real money deposit, the bonus cash was still “whole”, so I could withdraw.
